Hello folks! I have a severe problem regarding algebra and I was hoping that someone might have the ability to help me out a little. I have a math test in a few weeks and even though I have been studying algebra seriously, there are still a few items that cause a lot of stress, such as find largest common denominator and hyperbolas especially. Last week I had a class with a private tutor, but many things still remain unclear to me. Can you suggest a good way of studying or a good private teacher that you know already?

Algebrator is a useful program to solve find largest common denominator questions. It gives you step by step solutions along with explanations. I however would warn you not to just copy the answers from the software. It will not help you in understanding the subject. Use it as a guide and solve the problems yourself as well.

1.Hey mate, you are on the mark about Algebrator! It is absolutely fab! I downloaded it recently from http://www.roots-and-radicals.com/newtons-method-for-finding-roots.html after a friend suggested it to me. Now, all I do is type in the problem from my text book and click on Solve. Bingo! I get a step-by-step solution to my math problem. It’s almost like a tutor is teaching it to you. I have been using it for three weeks and so far, haven’t come across any problem that Algebrator can’t solve. I have learnt so much from it!

Is it really true that a program can perform like that? I don’t really know much anything about this Algebrator but I am really seeking for some assistance so would you mind sharing me where could I find that program? Is it downloadable over the net? I’m hoping for your fast reply because I really need help desperately.

I remember having problems with angle suplements, midpoint of a line and proportions. Algebrator is a really great piece of math software. I have used it through several algebra classes - Algebra 2, Intermediate algebra and Algebra 1. I would simply type in the problem from a workbook and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.

This one is actually quite different. I am recommending it only after trying it myself. You can find the information about the software at http://www.roots-and-radicals.com/roots-of-quadratic-equations-studio.html.
