I am taking an online guided discovery math course. For me it’s a bit hard to study this subject all by myself. Is there any one studying online? I really need some guidance.

It always feels nice when I hear that beginners are willing to put that extra punch into their studies. guided discovery math is not a very complex subject and you can easily do some initial preparation yourself. As a useful tool, I would suggest that you get a copy of Algebrator. This tool is quite handy when doing math yourself.

Algebrator indeed is a very good tool to help you learn math, without having to go to school. I remember having difficulties with greatest common factor, reducing fractions and function definition. Algebrator is a really great piece of algebra software. I have used it through several math classes - Intermediate algebra, Algebra 1 and Remedial Algebra. I would simply type in the problem and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.
