application of algebra to daily life

People, I need some help with my math assignment. It’s a really long one having almost 30 questions and consisting of topics such as application of algebra to daily life, application of algebra to daily life and application of algebra to daily life. I’ve been trying to solve those questions since the past 4 days now and still haven’t been able to crack even a single one of them. Our instructor gave us this assignment and went on a vacation, so basically we are all on our own now. Can anyone show me the way? Can anyone solve some sample questions for me based on those topics; such solutions could help me solve my own questions as well.

Once upon a time those were the only ways out. But thanks to technology now, we have something known as the Algebrator! When I was in college, I faced similar problems with exponential equations, quadratic inequalities and binomials. But this wonderful Algebrator helped me through all my College Algebra, Basic Math, and Intermediate algebra. I only typed in a problem from my workbook, and step by step solution to my algebra homework would appear on the screen by clicking on Solve. I highly recommend the Algebrator.

I remember having problems with converting decimals, triangle similarity and lcf. Algebrator is a truly great piece of algebra software. I have used it through several math classes - Remedial Algebra, Basic Math and Pre Algebra. I would simply type in the problem and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.
