Hi! We just started tackling a new lesson in algebra regarding college algebra by mark dugopolski and I did well for most assignments we had but the latest one my professor gave really confusing so I'd appreciate if somebody will assist me to understand it! It’s a problem solving assignment my math professor gave out this day and it’s due next week and I tried doing it but to no avail. I can’t answer it easily unlike the other homeworks. I had an easy time doing my past assignments but this particular assignment with specific topic of x-intercept gives me a hard time just knowing how to begin. I’m desperately in need of help. I’ll really be grateful if someone help me in discussing the steps and how to solve it in a organized and clear way.

It’s really a fine program to learn from but remember to avoid copying solutions from the software because it would really not help you if you’d just copy the answers. Use it just to give an idea how to solve certain math problems.

I always use Algebrator to help me with my math assignments. I have tried several other online help tools but so far this is the best I have seen. I guess it is the uncomplicated way of explaining the solution to problems that makes the whole process appear so easy. It is indeed a very good piece of software and I can vouch for it.

I remember having problems with graphing inequalities, rational expressions and roots. Algebrator is a really great piece of math software. I have used it through several algebra classes - Remedial Algebra, Basic Math and Pre Algebra. I would simply type in the problem from a workbook and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.
