I struggle a lot with cost accounting presentations problems. No matter how hard I try, I just am not able to solve any question in less than an hour. If things go this way, I fear I will not be able to get through my math exam.

A good program would be best option rather than a math tutor. After trying a number of software I found the Algebrator to be the best I have so far come across. It solves any algebra problem from your book. It also shows all the steps (of the solution). You can just copy it as your homework assignment. However, you should use it to learn math, and simply not use it to copy answers.

Algebrator explains everything in such great detail that even a amateur can learn the tricks of the trade, and crack some of the most tough mathematical problems. It elaborates on each and every intermediate step that it took to reach a certain answer with such perfection that you’ll learn a lot from it.

Algebrator is a truly great piece of algebra software. I have used it through several math classes - Intermediate algebra, Algebra 2 and Pre Algebra. I would simply type in the problem and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.
