I just never seem to be able to solve a problem without going wrong a couple of times times. Please do not tell me to take extra classes. They are expensive and I cannot afford them. Any other suggestion would be more than welcome.

Try Algebrator, it covers a rather elaborate list of mathematical topics and is highly recommended. With it you can solve various types of questions and it’ll also address all your enquiries as to how it came up with a particular solution. I tried it when I was having difficulty solving questions based on pre algebra properties worksheets and I really enjoyed using it.

I have used it through several algebra classes – Intermediate algebra, Pre Algebra and Intermediate algebra. Simply typing in the algebra problem and clicking on Solve, Algebrator generates step-by-step solution to the problem, and my algebra homework would be ready. I truly recommend the program.
