Hi All, I am in need of help on equivalent fractions, linear equations, perfect square trinomial and syntehtic division. Since I am a newbie to Remedial Algebra, I really want to learn the basics of Remedial Algebra completely. Can anyone suggest the best place from where I can start learning the basics? I have an exam next week. |

Hello Kid How are you?. Well I’ve been reading your post and believe me : Sounds very familiar. Some time ago I was in the same problem, but before you get a teacher, I will like to recommend you one software that’s really cool: Algebrator. I really tried a lot of other programs but that one it’s definitely the the one! The best luck with that! Let me know what you think!. |

I agree, a good software can do miracles . I tried a few but Algebrator is the best. It doesn't matter what class you are in, I myself used it in Algebra 2 and Remedial Algebra too, so you don't have to worry that it's not on your level. If you never had a software until now I can assure you it's very easy, you don't need to know much about the computer to use it. You just have to type in the keywords of the exercise, and then the program solves it step by step, so you get more than just the answer. |

Algebrator is the program that I have used through several algebra classes - Remedial Algebra, Algebra 1 and Intermediate algebra. It is a really a great piece of algebra software. I remember of going through difficulties with matrices, solving a triangle and equivalent fractions. I would simply type in a problem from the workbook, click on Solve – and step by step solution to my math homework. I highly recommend the program. |
