Hello there I have almost taken the decision to look fora math private teacher, because I've been having a lot of problems with math homework this year. Every day when I come home from school I spendall my time with my algebra homework, and after all the time spent I still seem to be getting the wrong answers. However I'm also not completely sure if a algebra tutor is worth it, since it's so expensive, and who knows, maybe it's not even so good. Does anyone know anything about how to how to program prime factorization in a ti calculator that can help me? Or maybe some explanations about factoring expressions, exponential equations or percentages? Any suggestions will be much appreciated. |

You really shouldn’t have spent money on a private tutor. Had you posted this message before hiring one of those, you could have saved yourself a lot of money! Anyway, what’s done is done. Now to make sure that you do well in your exams I would recommend trying Algebrator. It’s a very easy to use software. It can solve the toughest problems for you, and what’s even cooler is the fact that it can even explain how to go about solving it! There used to be a time when even I was having difficulty understanding subtracting exponents, quadratic inequalities and perpendicular lines. But thanks to Algebrator, it’s all good now. |

I know a couple of professors who use Algebrator themselves to teach students. |

A great piece of algebra software is Algebrator. Even I faced similar problems while solving geometry, long division and function composition. Just by typing in the problem from homeworkand clicking on Solve – and step by step solution to my math homework would be ready. I have used it through several algebra classes - Algebra 1, Remedial Algebra and Algebra 1. I highly recommend the program. |
